Travel Tips

June has been the month of travel! I've traveled for my best friend's wedding, a family, and two choreography camps. And it's only June 22nd! I love traveling, I love flying on planes, and I love working and seeing friends when I travel. What I don't love? Breaking my routine. Here are a few ways I try to stay on track and stay motivated.

The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast: I've BINGE listened to this podcast for the last 2 weeks. I absolutely LOVE it. It's an easy listen and hosted by newlyweds Lauryn Evarts & Michael Bosstick. The pair gives amazing life & business tips. The podcast sparked from Lauryn Evarts blog and brand, The Skinny Confidential. Michael & Lauryn talk about everything from getting what you want, how they stay motivated, business tips, nutrition, relationship advice and basically everything I'm interested in. They are absolutely hilarious and total hustlers!

Pinterest Workouts: I'm lost without Flybarre when I go out of town! So I try to switch it up by trying new workouts. The easiest thing for me to do is go on my Pinterest app and search workouts. It's AMAZING! Free workouts and you don't have to run on a treadmill for 30 minutes straight. Tone It Up has great workouts. Because I'm currently obsessed with The Skinny Confidential, I just bought her Bombshell Body Guide. I'll keep you all posted on that!

You are a Badass Book .jpg

You are a Badass by Jen Sincero: I just started this book & I already love it. My ride or die, Brittany, sent me a passage out of the book about Ego and immediately I was hooked. I'm always thinking about what I can do next and how I can stay motivated. My favorite passage so far: "If you want to take control of your life and turn it into something as spectacularly 'you,' stop at nothing. Have faith. Trust that your new life is already here and is far better than the old." It sounds easy but it's not! As an entrepreneur, I have to constantly trust & remind myself! This is why I know this book is golden. Plus I feel like everyone is reading it! I posted it on my IG story & 5 of my friends told me they were reading it too. Also, I bought this book to read on my iPhone because when I read a paperback book I fall asleep.

Rodan+Fields Skincare: I take this stuff everywhere. I started using R+F in March, and have seen incredible results. The things I love the most about this skincare is NO BLEMISHES & soft skin. It's so rare for me not to break out especially when traveling, but this skincare does the trick. Yes, I am a consultant, but I believe in this product and sell it because it works. Interested? The best results I've seen are from the Lash Boost.

Plenty of underwear: Duh.

Grocery Shopping: This mostly applies when I travel for choreography. It's soooo easy to over eat when you go out of town, even when you TRY to be good. I find that grocery shopping for the breakfast or the snacks you eat at home, really helps me stay on track and feel like I'm in more of a routine. Some of my favorites include Trader Joe's sushi, cocoa almonds, peanut butter (it's one of my main food groups), fruit, and iced coffee. I like Trader Joe's, but any grocery store works :)

If you have any travel tips, let me know! I'm going to really try to blog regularly. Tell me if there are any topics you would like to hear about. :)
