I was scrolling through Instagram this morning as a usually do and I came across a fitness model's page who is also a realtor. I looked at her page for one second and thought to myself, "I bet I could be a realtor. I'm going to look into what it takes to be a realtor." Then I paused, and thought, "Hold on, Christie. BE PATIENT. What you're doing right now is perfectly you, and you need to be patient."
I have this mind set where I can do anything I put my mind to. I really believe that! Which is great, but sometimes I need to slow down, stop and smell the coffee(?), and just be completely content with where I am right this very moment. Because what I'm doing right now is pretty damn great. The grass is greener where you water it. If I'm jumping around and getting into everything, I won't be able to focus on the things that really matter to me and help those things flourish. My boyfriend will be the FIRST person to tell me, "be patient," and he says it in the most loving way possible. I have to admit that he's right!
It's not about who can be successful the fastest, or who makes the most money, or who does the most fun things, or who has the best highlight reel on Instagram. It's about being patient and taking the path that you know is BEST for YOU. And being 110% confident in your own individual path.
